MEANING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” is any information that relates to a physical person and allows it to be identified.

Collection of personal information
We collect the following information:
- Display name (at the user's choice, this can be their first and last name or a pseudonym)

Forms and interactivity
Your personal information is collected through forms, namely:

- Notifications of new messages by email, sms or push-notifications
- Administrative contacts (account management, important information about your account or about Yelo, like changes to our terms and policies)
- Newsletters / Contests / Promotional offers
This data is never sold to third parties and subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.
When you send a message to a user on the Application, the data entered in the form messages, but also your IP address and browser user agent are collected to help us in the detection of spam using an automated detection service.
When you browse the Application, cookies (“cookies”) and invisible pixels are deposited on your device (computer, tablet or phone). They make it possible to collect or memorize some information when browsing the Application. Only the issuer of the cookie file, the Company, is in measure of read this file. Functional cookies are used to manage and optimize the presentation content of the Application according to your personalization of navigation (language) and to memorize certain information already fulfilled. For the realization of the various measures concerning the use and the performance of our Application, the establishment of statistics and volumes of attendance of its content, we use:
- Google Analytics: Information is stored by Google on servers that may be located outside the Canada, especially in the United States. You can download the browser add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics, where applicable.
If you consent, third parties, including Google Display Network or other media partners, may also place advertising cookies on our Application in order to know your interests through content consulted on our Application and to personalize the advertising offer sent on our Application or in other websites. If necessary, you can disable cookies from companies participating in the Choice of ad from the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.
Our Application may also use sharing cookies which allow us to add content sharing features on social networks, including Facebook. The use of sharing buttons will install a cookie file to link the content viewed on the Application to your user account for these networks. To disable the Facebook pixel (if applicable), we invite you to consult the Facebook help center.
Retention of personal information
The Company agrees to keep your Personal Information only for the time necessary for the purposes to fill the purposes identified in this Policy as well as for as long as your Account user exists.
For users who register on our Application, we
store the personal data indicated in their profile in Google Cloud services.
This information is stored by Google on servers that may be located outside the
Canada, especially in the United States.
The User can see, modify or delete his personal information at any time.
Company data managers may also access this information for purposes related to the proper functioning of the Application, apart from the password, which is encrypted and stored on Google's Firebase Authentication service.
If you write a message, the message and its metadata are preserved
indefinitely to allow you to view your message history.
We use the service
Google's Firebase to store sent messages and media. This information is kept by
Google on servers that may be located outside the
Canada, especially in the United States.
Yelo may implement an automatic expiration system to archive and then delete your messages after a while.
We use Mailchimp as a marketing platform for sending newsletters. By subscribing,
you acknowledge that your
information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing.
Right of access, right of opposition and withdrawal
We are committed to recognizing a right of access and rectification to the persons concerned and eager to consult, modify, or even delete the information concerning them.
Please note that subscribers to our mailing list can unsubscribe at any time.
We are therefore committed to offering you the right to oppose and withdraw your information personal. The right of opposition is understood as being the possibility offered to Internet users to refuse that their personal information is used for certain purposes mentioned at the time of collection (see section “Collection of Personal Information”).
The right of withdrawal is understood as being the possibility offered to Internet users to request that their personal information no longer appears, for example, in a mailing list.
